Denmark tops European Life Long Learning Index (ELLI) 2010

Thanks to Nicole in Germany for drawing this index to my attention

This recently published index seeks to compare European countries in their Lifelong Learning provision in the fours UNESCO domains established by Jacques Delors.

learning to know – formal education
learning to do – vocational learning
learning to live – learning for social cohesion
learning to be – learning as personal growth.

It is no surprise that Scandinavia comes out well – with Denmark in the lead.
