D.Lit Project celebrates Europe’s best practice in digital inclusion

Today sees the final transnational conference of the European D Lit project. It launched two years ago to analyse:

best practices strategies and success criteria from different European countries into one comprehensive and innovative strategy with special emphasis on innovative non-formal learning approaches and collaboration models.

Led by Berlin-based Stiftung Digitale Chancen,  the project is a transnational with partners in seven EU countries  and a number of sectors including adult education and public libraries.

Although some of these idea have been around for a long time in the UK it is still really valuable to see how other countries are tackling issues such as cyber security and that key Web 2.0 issue of how how a citizen can have a safe and a effective voice online.

Good luck folks – I look forward to being able to report the project outcomes and your next steps.
